The VAMOR Doctoral Network is now fully up and running. The week 24th-28th March was the first opportunity for all Doctoral Candidates to meet in person.

Hosted at Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) in the center of Paris, the 1st internal Technical workshop took place between tuesday 25th and friday 28th of march 2025. Monday was dedicated to the general assembly of the network.

For their first gathering, the DCs from VAMOR received training on foundational tools for researchers on data management, open science, bibliography and document databases. They also explored technical concepts with a internal school on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins and Reduced Order Models.

After the network startup and recruitment process, it is nice to see the group forming and interactions appearing.

Next meet-up for a shared training session will be in the Fall of 2025 and in Leuven, Belgium.
