The VAMOR Doctoral Network was represented at a guest presentation within the Nordic Sensor Network, held in Stockholm on 6–7 February 2025.

Romain Rumpler presented recent research on sensing approaches for noise and environmental exposure assessment, including the use of acoustic sensors as proxies for traffic flow estimation.

The event brought together reference laboratories, city representatives, research institutes, and university researchers from across the Nordic countries, providing a platform for interdisciplinary exchange between academia, industry, and public stakeholders.

This participation highlights VAMOR’s contribution to applied research in environmental acoustics and smart sensing technologies, as well as its engagement with international research and innovation networks.
