The VAMOR Doctoral Network was represented at the AeroBest 2025, held in Lisbon from 22 to 24 April 2025.

Romain Rumpler and Huina Mao presented their work entitled “Inverse estimation method for the characterisation of elastic properties of anisotropic open-cell materials”. The contribution focused on advanced methodologies for identifying material properties, addressing challenges in the modeling and analysis of complex porous structures.

AeroBest is an ECCOMAS thematic conference dedicated to the multidisciplinary design and optimization of aerospace systems, covering both aircraft and spacecraft. The event brings together the scientific community at the intersection of aerospace engineering and optimization, fostering exchange on the latest developments in modeling, analysis, and design methodologies.
