[Seminar] VAMOR Research Presented at DTU Acoustic Technology Seminar Series

The VAMOR Doctoral Network contributed to the Acoustic Technology seminar series at the Technical University of Denmark, with presentations delivered on 12 May 2025 and 12 June 2025, both held at DTU and streamed online.
Lucas Val Quintans Kulakauskas (DC9) presented his research within this seminar framework, which is organized by the Acoustic Technology Group at DTU Electro. The seminars are coordinated by leading researchers and bring together PhDs, postdoctoral researchers, and external experts from academia and industry.
The presentations introduced Lucas’s research project, focusing on the integration of numerical optimization and model order reduction techniques for vibro-acoustic applications. They also contributed to broader dissemination activities within the Acoustic Technology – Presentation Day, highlighting ongoing research developments to both academic and industrial audiences.
The seminar series addresses key topics in acoustics, including room acoustics, loudspeakers, hearing aids, vibration control, and noise reduction in transportation and buildings. The sessions were well attended by DTU staff, industry partners, and students, both in person and online.
This activity demonstrates VAMOR’s active engagement in knowledge exchange and dissemination within the European acoustics and engineering community.
